The Peddler's Village Peach Festival is held in August.

Peddler's Village will host its annual Peach Festival Saturday, August 8 and Sunday, August 9. A combination of food-themed fun and shopping make the free event one for all ages.

Peach barbecue sandwiches, peach fritters, fresh peach pie, peach jam, peach crepes, peach bread pudding and peach cobbler cupcakes will be among the offerings from Peddler's Village vendors and restaurants. A peach pie-eating contest will go down each day of the festival, letting fans of the fruit get up close and personal with the summer treat.

A sidewalk sale will accompany the festival, beginning a day early on Friday at 10 a.m. (As it's the end of the season, stores are clearing stock for fall.) Village vendors like Apricot Lane Boutique and Country Accents will be serving up big deals inside and outside of their stores. Chaddsford Winery will have a themed drink special, "Pardon My Peach," for sale, too.

Live music from the likes of The Overtones and The Mango Men will provide entertainment over the weekend. Crafts, sand art, face painting, balloon animals and pony rides will be available for the little ones.
