Two arrested in Thanksgiving shooting death of Port Richmond man

David Ramos Jr., 18, of Philadelphia, and Keanan Glenn, 21, of Middletown, Delaware, have been charged with murder and related offenses in the Thanksgiving Day shooting that killed a 21-year-old man in Port Richmond.

Philadelphia police have arrested two men and charged them with the Thanksgiving Day killing of a 21-year-old Port Richmond man. 

On Wednesday, police announced the arrest of Keanan Glenn, 21, of Middletown, Delaware, in the Nov. 26 shooting death of Ryan Kelly, who was shot at around 5 a.m. that day on the 3500 block of Almond St. - just one block from his family's home. 

Glenn is the second person arrested in the incident. On Jan. 15, investigators obtained an arrest warrant for 18-year-old David Ramos Jr., from the 5900 block of Torresdale St.  

Ramos was apprehended on Jan. 16 in a home on the 4900 block of Frankford Ave., police said. 

Law enforcement officials said that on Jan. 22, Glenn was arrested in New Castle, Delaware, and, on Tuesday, he was transported to Philadelphia from the Howard Young Correctional Facility in Wilmington, Delaware.

Both Ramos and Glenn have been charged with murder, robbery and related offenses in reference to the shooting death of Kelly.
