The Philadelphia police Special Victims Unit on Tuesday released information about the incidents in the hopes of tracking down suspects.

The first incident occurred at about 8:30 p.m., when an 11-year-old girl told police, she was walking along the 5100 block of Woodlawn Avenue in West Oak Lane when she was approached by a black man, between 30 to 40 years of age, about 6-foot-5, wearing a black hoodie and dark jeans.

The man displayed a knife and forced her into an alleyway, where he raped her, law enforcement officials said.

About two hours later, a 24-year-old woman reported that she was also raped at knifepoint. The woman told police that she was walking on the 3100 block of Emerald Street in Port Richmond when she was approached by a black man, about 27 or 28 years old, about 5-foot-9 to 6-foot tall, with a dark complexion, mustache, goatee and short black hair.

The man, dressed in jeans and a navy blue hoodie, engaged the woman in conversation as they walked the block, then forced her onto a step on Emerald Street, where he displayed a knife and proceeded to rape her.

Both men are sought by police.
