Police investigate after Philadelphia teen fatally struck on I-95 in Bensalem

State police seek help from witnesses and others who may have information on the crash

The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating after a Philadelphia teenager was fatally struck by a car early Saturday morning on Interstate-95 in Bensalem.

According to authorities, the incident occurred around 3 a.m. when the 19-year-old, who has not been identified, walked out into traffic for reasons that remain unclear, the Bucks County Courier Times reports.

The driver of the vehicle did not remain at the scene of the accident and the teen was later pronounced dead.
