Philadelphia police are investigating after a child was struck by a hit-and-run driver Wednesday night in West Philadelphia.
According to authorities, the incident occurred around 8:14 p.m. near 33rd and Powelton Street, CBS3 reports.
Officials said the child, whose age was not revealed, was struck by an older model red minivan.
The vehicle was last seen traveling north on 35th street.
The condition of the child was not immediately known, however police said the injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
