Philadelphia police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man outside the TLA venue on the 300 block South Street Friday night.

Authorities say the shooting occurred around 8:20 p.m. amid a concert scheduled for musicians including the group Gunplay and rapper Lil Durk at 7 p.m., NBC 10 reports.

According to witnesses, three gunshots were fired and two people were seen on the ground.

This morning, early-shift workers and joggers on South Street passed by the location of the fatal shooting, which is  just a few feet east of the TLA's entrance.

Looking more frayed and dirty than South Street's once-funky roots, a sticky blot of blood remained on the sidewalk next to a half-finished bag of pretzels.

The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to Hahnemann Hospital, where he died of his injuries, police said. According to 6 ABC, he was 25-years-old.

A video tweeted to 6 ABC shows police responding to the shooting.

According to FOX 29, the suspect was described as wearing a black T-shirt with "OFT" on the front. The area has been cordoned off as police continue to investigate.

NBC 10 reports that the suspect was seen getting into a limousine, which was pulled over on Columbus Boulevard a few blocks away. Three suspects were taken into custody to be questioned by homicide detectives and a gun was recovered.

Reports say that hundreds of people were outside the venue at the time of the incident.

The show was canceled and South Street closed for hours as the Labor Day weekend got underway.

Police found a semiautomatic handgun in the wheel well of a car parked in the 600 block of South American Street, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

The paper also said three men were taken into custody.
