Police: Man shot multiple times outside North Philadelphia bar

Investigators say 23-year-old victim was shot 12 times

Philadelphia police are investigating after a 23-year-old man was shot multiple times early Saturday morning outside a bar in North Philadelphia.

According to authorities, the shooting occurred around 2 a.m. Saturday at J and S Tavern on the 2400 block of Germantown Avenue, 6 ABC reports.

Police said the victim was shot a total of twelve times before he was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center to be treated for his injuries. His condition was not immediately available.

Investigators continue to seek a suspect in the shooting and have spoken with patrons of the bar in order to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
