Sarah Wills, 17, went missing Wednesday night in Chestnut Hill.

A 17-year-old girl who went missing in Chestnut Hill Wednesday night has been found, CBSPhilly reports.

The teen, identified as Sarah Wills from Upper Dublin, Montgomery County, was last seen around 8 p.m. walking in the area of Germantown Avenue and Cresheim Valley Drive. Wills walked out of the woods Thursday morning with police.

Wills had been picked up from a concert at the Susquehanna Bank Center, and on the way home, she asked her father to stop the car so she could relieve herself. She then headed into the wooded area near the 7600 block of Germantown Ave.

When she did not return, her father says he went searching for her, calling her name into the woods. She did not respond, so he called 911.

The K-9, SWAT team units and a helicopter were called to the scene to search for Wills. The teen left her phone in the car, but police said they found some personal belongings, including her purse.

It remains unclear whether the teen ran away or if foul play was involved. Police say Wills may have been intoxicated when she went missing.

The investigation is ongoing.
