Police: Motorcyclist shot outside Steve's Prince of Steaks in Northeast Philly

Suspect taken into custody for questioning

Philadelphia police are investigating after a man riding a motorcycle was shot in the head Sunday morning in Northeast Philadelphia.

According to authorities, the shooting occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. outside Steve's Prince of Steaks on the 2700 block of Comley Road, 6ABC reports.

The 28-year-old male victim was Aria Torresdale Hospital where he was listed in critical condition.

Investigators said the shooting appears to have stemmed from an argument among several men outside the popular cheesesteak shop. When police arrived, several of those involved were holding a 25-year-old suspect who was later taken in for questioning.

No charges have been announced against the suspect and an investigation is ongoing.
