Philadelphia police are looking for a gunman who remains on the loose after shooting an employee at a Center City novelty store early Saturday morning.

The shooting occurred around 3:45 a.m. inside Danny's Midnight Confessions on the 100 block of South 13th Street, according to ABC6. Two employees were in the store during the shooting. One was shot in the back.

Security footage of the incident has been released by the Philadelphia Police Department as their investigation continues. The altercation can be seen beginning at about the 1:45 minute mark.

The suspect initially entered the store and looked around for several minutes, according to NBC10. Police say the suspect made a derogatory remark to a 31-year-old employee about the shop's gay merchandise. The suspect then left but returned a short time later to inquire with the same employee about any straight merchandise for sale at the shop.

Investigators say the suspect then drew a silver revolver and engaged in a scuffle with the employee before shooting the employee once in the lower back and fleeing the scene.

When last seen, the man was wearing silver glasses, a dark hooded sweatshirt with "USA" across the front, blue jeans, and white sneakers. He was thought to be possibly carrying a .38 or .357 caliber revolver with a 4-inch barrel.
