Hanniya Mitchell, 13, has been missing since the morning of Monday, Oct. 19, when she didn't show up for school in the morning. The Philadelphia Police are seeking assistance in finding the young girl.

Update, 8:10 a.m., Wednesday: Philadelphia police report Hanniya Mitchell has been located. No further details were available.

Philadelphia police are seeking a missing 13-year-old girl who hasn't been seen since abut 6: 30 a.m. on Monday when she left for school.

Hanniya Mitchell was last seen leaving her residence on the 400 block of S. 62nd Street on her way to Bryant Elementary School, at 6001 Cedar Ave. that morning.

But she did not show up for school that day and she has not attended school since she was reported missing, police said.

Police issued the following description for Hanniya: 4-foot, 6-inches tall and weighing about 115 lbs, with brown eyes, a medium build, dark brown complexion, and black wavy shoulder length hair.

Police said she was last seen wearing a blue Polo shirt, khaki pants, gold jacket with fur, and red sneakers.
