Philadelphia Police are looking to identify and locate a suspect wanted for a robbery outside a pizza shop in Kingsessing.

Police are seeking the public's help in finding a suspect wanted for a robbery outside a pizza shop in Kingsessing.

In surveillance video released by police Monday, an unknown male suspect can be seen outside Chester Avenue Pizza located at 5504 Chester Avenue just before midnight on Wednesday.

An employee comes outside to place trash behind the store when the suspect pulls a handgun on the employee and demands money. When the employee informs him that there are cameras at the location, the suspect strikes the employee two times with the handgun on the left side of his head. 

The suspect then takes a small trash bag from the employee containing only trash and flees the area. He was last seen heading south on 55th Street.


Police describe the suspect as a 20-year-old black male with a thin build, wearing a black hooded jacket, possibly a Northface, black pants and armed with a handgun.
