WATCH: Police seek suspect, witnesses after attack outside Manayunk bar

Police are seeking this person of interest as well as several potential witnesses in connection to an attack outside a Manayunk bar.

Police are searching for a suspect as well as potential witnesses after a man was hospitalized following a fight outside a Manayunk bar. 

According to authorities, the incident occurred around 3 a.m. outside of Spanky’s Pub at 4630 Umbria St. when the complainant, 32, got into a verbal altercation with an unknown white male. 

Police say the victim was struck in the head, knocking him unconscious. He was taken to Temple University Hospital where he spent several days in intensive care due to his injuries. 

Before the fight, the man had a disagreement with a group of bar patrons, but the issue was reportedly resolved. 

In a video released by police, a shirtless person of interest is identified, but the footage does not get close enough to him to give distinguishable features. 

It also identifies a group of potential witnesses who may be able to give authorities more information on the altercation. Watch the video here:
