Police seek help from the public to identify and locate two suspects in August 17 assault of victim at North Philadelphia Wine & Spirits Shop.

The Philadelphia Police Department's East Detective Division is seeking assistance from the public to identify and locate two suspects who assaulted a man at a Wine & Spirits Shop in North Philadelphia in mid-August.

Authorities released a surveillance video of the incident that occurred August 17 outside the shop on the 1300 block of E. Erie Ave.



The victim, a 60-year-old man, told police that he was walking into the Wine & Spirits Shop when an unknown person approached him and struck him in the back of the head with an object he was unable to identify. The video shows two suspects assaulting the victim before fleeing the scene.

The victim was taken to Hahneman Hospital to be treated for a laceration to the back of his head and a cut on his lip.
