Police: Teen fatally shot outside lounge in North Philadelphia

Investigators say shooting after-hours shooting stemmed from fight involving multiple people

Philadelphia police are investigating after a 17-year-old boy was fatally shot Sunday morning outside a lounge in the Feltonville section of North Philadelphia.

According to authorities, the incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. outside the Emergency Cafe and Lounge on the 400 block of East Wyoming Avenue, 6 ABC reports.

Officials said the incident stemmed from an after-hours fight involving multiple people. The lounge was closed at the time of the shooting.

The 17-year-old victim, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children.

No arrests have been made and police continue to search for suspects.
