Three men wanted for armed robbery in Northeast Philly

The Philadelphia Police Department released surveillance video Monday that shows three men committing an armed robbery at a convenience store in the northeast section of the city.

The robbery occurred Aug. 7 around 2 a.m. at the 7-Eleven located at 2981 Welsh Road.

Authorities said three men entered the store and ordered a store employee and a customer to the ground at gunpoint. The suspects stole an undetermined amount of cash and the customer's wallet before fleeing the store.

All three suspects were covering their faces during the robbery. Two suspects were described by police as a white man and a black man, both 6-foot tall. The third suspect was described only as a man of "unknown race."
