Rapper Beanie Sigel on the road to recovery, says Freeway

He'll be back in shape in a few months

Philadelphia rapper Freeway reports fellow rhymer Beanie Sigel is in good health, according to AllHipHop News. Home from the hospital where he was taken after being shot in Pleasantville, New Jersey, on Dec. 5, Sigel is on the road to a full recovery.

“He’s coming along. He’s home now. He’s with his family, he’s resting,” stated Freeway. “He should be back in tip-top shape in a couple of months.”

The State Property hip-hop artist has been recuperating since his hospital release the first week of January.

Sigel, 40, was shot just outside his brother-in-law's Jersey Shore home following a nearby fight. A bullet penetrated his stomach and exited his back, leaving him in critical condition. Sigel, who had just returned from dropping off his kids, was reportedly not the intended target.

No arrests have been made in the attack, but Kamilah Salahuddin, sister of the Jersey house owner, has been named a person of interest
