CBSPhilly is reporting that a 2-year-old child fell more than 10 feet down a metal sidewalk grate in North Philadelphia on Friday morning.
The incident reportedly occurred on the 2400 block of Germantown Avenue.
There are few details on how or exactly when it happened, however, police told CBSPhilly the child appears to be OK and is recovering from the fall at St. Christopher’s Hospital.
An investigation is underway.
