Report: Boy, 12, shot in face at Pennsylvania Game Commission shooting range

Authorities are investigating after a 12-year-old boy was reportedly shot in the face Sunday afternoon at a Pennsylvania Game Commission shooting range outside State College. 

According to the Centre Daily Times, the incident occurred at the Scotia Range in Halfmoon Township. 

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital to be treated for his injuries. His condition was not immediately released. 

Circumstances surrounding the shooting were also not immediately known. The incident remains under investigation.
