Run a 5k over Valentine's Day weekend

The race supports Alex's Lemonade Stand

An all-ages race, Crossing 5k for Love and a Cure, will be held Feb. 13 at Washington Crossing Historic Park in Bucks County. The race benefits Alex's Lemonade Stand, an organization which raises money that benefits the fight to cure childhood cancer.

When signing up for the race, participants can choose to run individually or in a two-person team.

For those who opt to run with a date, a family member or a friend, each person will run 5k and then have individual times added together for a team time. The registration for teams is $50, before Friday, Feb. 12, while individual registration is $30 before race day. Late registration is an additional $5 to $10, respectively.

On Feb. 12 participants can head to a pre-race packet pick-up party at the Patriots Crossing Tavern, which overlooks the Park, between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. or check in beginning at 7:30 a.m. on race day at the Park's Visitor's Center.

The race will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
