'Run' the Philly 0.0 race

The anti-runner's event features just the post-race activities (read: drinking)

Would you enjoy running a 5K, half marathon or even a marathon if there wasn't so much, like, running involved? Do you love waking up early for a race but wish you could just skip to the good part, the usually free post-run beer? Boy, do we have a race for you.

Friday, Feb. 6, is the Philly 0.0 at Xfinity Live!, the Instant Gratification Race for non-runners (and runners, we guess, but who are we kidding) where you begin and end running at the exact same time.

Before and after the "race" there will be live music, DJs, awards and happy-hour specials. The post-run fun will last through the night. Proceeds from this inaugural event go toward Children's Country Week Association, a youth organization that connects kids to the outdoors. Also, the race logo looks like a smiley-face Liberty Bell.

Registration ends Tuesday, Feb. 3, so be sure to grab your spot now so you can join in on the fun.
