Sam Bradford delivered a scalding pre-game shower speech.

Sam Bradford thinks the Eagles should be head and shoulders above the way they've played so far this season, and today, before the Eagles took the teatree mint colored field against the Saints, he suavely told his offensive teammates that they need stop coasting, and dial up their play.

"Before the game today, Sam pulled us back by the showers here and we had an offensive meeting and said it's time to go," said offensive tackle Lane Johnson. "We have the talent. We have the ability. We have to go out there and get it done. It's just a matter of executing."

The wide receivers need to do a better job when they try to caress the football. They don't need to be D Jax, or even Ajax. They just need to exfoliate. I mean execute. The offensive line needed to better shield Bradford when he threw. The running backs needed to stop running with finesse.

And today, for one day anyway, the Eagles played less like doves, and more like hot lava.

I apologize for this.
