We’re still in the dead period for basketball, but that doesn’t mean the Sixers Beat crew can’t squeeze out an hour of hoops talk when we put our minds to it. No Max today, so Philly Mag’s Derek Bodner and Liberty Ballers’ Kyle Neubeck chatted with me about the following:
• Dario Saric is playing well for Croatia in the Olympics, but is there a chance that we’re overrating what his impact will be in the NBA? I make the case that there should be a difference between the hype and actual expectations.
• Nerlens Noel’s past few weeks on social media have been… interesting. Do we think that he’s possibly unhappy with his role on the team?
