Chip Kelly is no longer in Philadelphia, but that doesn't mean his presence is forgotten. It was earlier in October when new Eagles head coach Doug Pederson seemed to take a veiled shot at Kelly.
However, brighter days appear to be ahead. The team is 4-2, Carson Wentz appears to be the quarterback of the future, and the defense is no longer on the field for 58 minutes a game because of Kelly's "up-tempo" offense. But 49ers fans? They're stuck with Kelly for the time being, sitting at 1-6 at the bottom of the NFC West.
And the guys behind many of the tracks on your middle school mix CDs aren't happy. As Deadspin recently pointed out, the band members — or at least whoever runs Smash Mouth's Twitter account – are huge 49ers fans, and went on a recent Twitter crusade defending general manager Trent Baalke. They also think Kelly's coaching is crap:

We feel you, Smash Mouth. It's almost like while Eagles fans are currently walkin' on the sun, the 49ers are in desperate need of some more all stars.
