There's a pretty good chance that Eagles rookie quarterback Carson Wentz will finish third in NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year voting, behind Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and running back Ezekiel Elliott. However, he was left off the Pro Football Writers of America's 2016 All-Rookie team completely.

In 2016, the NFC East had something of a rejuvenation, when two teams -- the Dallas Cowboys (13-3) and New York Giants (11-5) -- finished with the two best records in the NFC. However, regular season records didn't translate to squat when the games mattered. One by one, the NFC East teams were eliminated from the playoff contention.

Report: Chip Kelly interviewing for an offensive coordinator job

Over a decade ago, former Giants head coach Tom Coughlin offered Chip Kelly a job to join his coaching staff. Kelly declined, eventually becoming the head coach of the Oregon Ducks, and then, of course, the Philadelphia Eagles. After bombing in one season with the San Francisco 49ers, Kelly is being courted again by Coughlin, who is now the executive vice president for the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to Jacksonville reporter Hays Carlyon:

NFL divisional round open thread, Sunday edition

We're six games deep into the NFL playoffs, and there hasn't been a contest yet that has been decided by less than 13 points. Hopefully the NFL saved the best for Sunday, when the Green Bay Packers take on the Dallas Cowboys at 4:40 p.m. EST, while the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in the night game.
