WATCH: Suspects sought in assault, robbery near Temple University

Police are looking to identify and locate the suspects wanted in a robbery on a North Philadelphia street near Temple University.

Police are seeking the public's help in finding the suspects wanted in a robbery near Temple University.

In surveillance video released by police Wednesday, three unknown male suspects can be seen walking along Berks Street on Dec. 9 at 6 p.m.

Police say a 21-year-old man was walking on the 1800 block of Berks St. when he was approached from behind by the three black males, who struck him in the head and took his cellphone. 

They then fled in an unknown direction.


Police describe the suspects as follows:

Suspect No. 1: Black male, 15 to 18 years old, wearing a red jacket with white sleeves and khaki pants.
Suspect No. 2: Black male, 15 to 18 years old, with a medium complexion, wearing a green patterned shirt, dark pants and dark-colored sneakers.
Suspect No. 3: Black male, 15 to 18 years old, with a dark complexion, wearing a dark-colored jacket and pants.
