Possible white supremacist arrested, stockpile of guns and ammo found in South Jersey woods

Authorities have arrested and charged a convicted felon (and possible white supremacist) after a several-agency search turned up a stockpile of weapons and ammunition in a wooded area in Ocean County, New Jersey.

The suspect, Bruce Post III, 42, of Hamilton, was arrested and transported to the Ocean County Correctional Facility, where he is being held on $400,000 cash bail, NJ1015.com reports.

Police said a search of the woods in Lacey Township, Ocean County, turned up an AK-47, a Walther P38 9 mm handgun, various forms of ammunition and several rounds of high-capacity magazines, NJ1015.com reports.

The search started after Lacey Township police spotted a suspicious vehicle carrying two men parked off the path in the woods of Lacey Township. One of the men was Post, who police said was dressed in combat gear and alluded to possibly having white supremacy ties.

The other person in the vehicle was not identified or arrested at that time.

Post's charges include illegal possession of a weapon as a felon, unlawful gun possession and prohibited weapons possession for having high-capacity magazines.
