Ted Cruz ready for 2016 run, TedCruz.com not so much

Texas Senator Ted Cruz became the first major figure to jump into the 2016 U.S. presidential election race Monday when he announced his candidacy on Twitter, but it appears the TedCruz.com domain name didn't get the memo.

Visitors to TedCruz.com will be greeted with black page asking for support for President Barack Obama and the immigration reform. TedCruzForAmerica.com, which Mashable reports was just created on Monday, redirects to Healthcare.gov.

Cruz is not the only politician with domain issues, according to Mashable.

Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan does not own PaulRyan.com, which directs to a music site. Gov. Jeb Bush won't be able to use the JebBushForPresident.com domain name, which was purchased in 2008 by a gay couple from Portland, Oregon, after they heard of some of his harsh views on gay rights issues.

Cruz's official campaign can be found at TedCruz.org
