Police I.D. teen driver in fatal Bucks County crash Sunday

Three others have been reported injured, one in critical condition

Police have identified the teen driver in a fatal Bucks County crash on Sunday that left three others injured as 17-year-old Christopher Zidlowski, of Warrington.

According to the Bucks County Courier Times, the accident occurred at around 1 a.m. Sunday on Limekiln Pike in New Britain Township when the pickup truck Zidlowski was driving veered off the roadway causing it to flip over multiple times before striking several objects, including a mailbox and utility pole.

Both Zidlowski and the front passenger, who has not been identified, were ejected from the vehicle and taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital, where Zidlowski was pronounced dead. Two survivors were expected to be released from the hospital Sunday while the other was listed in critical condition.

Bucks County Coroner Dr. Joseph Campbell told the Bucks County Courier Times that the two front seat drivers didn't appear to be wearing seat belts.

Open beer cans were also found inside the truck, police said, but it was too soon to say whether alcohol was a factor in the crash.
