Three injured, including two children, in Point Breeze hit-and-run

A woman and two young children were injured Tuesday after they were struck by car while crossing Broad Street at Dickinson Street in Point Breeze. 

According to police, the accident occurred at about 12:50 p.m., when a car headed eastbound on Dickinson Street struck the three pedestrians as they crossed the road.

All three of the victims were transported to Hahnemann Hospital for treatment of injuries.

Police said they are searching for a red, older-model Honda Accord with a sunroof and a broken side mirror. It was driven by a woman, investigators said.  

Anyone who might have seen the car is urged to contact 9-1-1.
