Three teens seriously injured in Northeast Philly car crash

Teens taken to Aria Torresdale Hospital

Philadelphia police are investigating a crash in Northeast Philadelphia that left three teenagers fighting for their lives late on Wednesday afternoon.

According to authorities, the accident took place around 4:10 p.m. on the 2800 block of Charter Road, NBC 10 reports. A vehicle with a 17-year-old driver and two 15-year-old passengers collided with another car, according to police.

All three teens were taken to Aria Torresdale hospital. The 17-year-old and one of the 15-year-olds are in critical condition, while the other 15-year-old is in serious condition.

The driver of the other car suffered minor injuries but did not seek medical assistance.
