The trial for Kathryn Knott, one of three people charged in the beating of a gay couple in Center City last fall, is expected to begin Wednesday, CBSPhilly reports.

Two co-defendants, Philip Williams and Kevin Harrigan, both of Bucks County, accepted a plea deal in October that prohibits them from entering Center City for the duration of their probation. They also will be required to perform community service at LGBT organizations.
