Tropicana Casino and Resort's Boogie Nights will celebrate "Halfway to Halloween."
Forget Christmas in July and try Halloween in April. Atlantic City's Tropicana Casino and Resort will host a property-wide Halfway to Halloween party on Saturday, April 29.
Since Halloween costumes can be pricey, why not get another wear out of last year's get-up? There will be six costume contests through the night, with more than $3,000 in combined cash and prizes up for grabs.
To participate, head to one of these locations in your best Halloween costume:
Boogie Nights – Guests who come dressed in costume will receive reduced admission and a chance to win prizes at the midnight costume contest.
Providence Nightclub – At 12:30 a.m., those in costume have a chance to win $2,500 in combined cash and prizes.
Ivan Kane’s Kiss Kiss Nightclub – The costume contest begins at 1 a.m. First place will receive VIP bottle service for four guests, second place will receive complimentary entry for four guests, and third place will win complimentary entry for two guests.
Cuba Libre Restaurant and Rum Bar – Dress in either all white or all red for the Saints & Sinners Costume Party. Those who dress up will receive discounted admission until 1 a.m.
Planet Rose Karaoke Bar – The costume contest will begin at 1:30 a.m.
Anthem Lounge – Dress as a superhero or a villain for this costume party and receive discounted admission.
Wet Willie’s – Sign-ups for the costume contest begin at 8 p.m., with prizes going to the top three costumes at 11 p.m.
Broadway Burger – Head to the bar at 10 p.m. to take part in the costume contest.
Ri Ra Irish Pub – At 10:30 p.m., the pub will start its costume contest.
A Dam Good Sports Bar – Win a $25 in-house gift certificate for "Best Dressed" in the 11:30 p.m. costume contest.
Participating restaurants, bars and clubs in the Tropicana will also serve drink specials and Halloween-themed cocktails through the night.
