Two brothers stabbed after confronting thief on Center City street

The men were robbed two days earlier by the man who stabbed them

Two brothers were seriously stabbed just after 4 a.m. near 12th and Locust streets in Center City Philadelphia after confronting a man they say had robbed them two days earlier.

The men were outside Voyeur Nightclub, 1221 St. James Street when they were stabbed, according to police.

Richard Slaughter, 31, was taken to Hahnnemann University Hospital. His bother, Willam Teller Jr., 27, was taken to Jefferson Univerity Hospital, according to police.

Both are in critical condition according to ABC 6.

Apparently, the two brothers were robbed two days earlier, though they had not reported the crime to police.

When they encountered their assailant two days later, they approched him, leading to their stabbings, according to police.
