Two Liberty Place

The iconic Two Liberty Place skyscraper is on the market, and it's expected to sell for a sky-high price.

As the Philadelphia Business Journal reports, the office portion of the building, which takes up 36 floors and 940,000 square feet of space, could be sold for up to $250 million. Condos make up the remaining 20 floors of the building.

Eighty-nine percent of that office space has been leased to tenants, including Cigna, Buchanan Ingersoll, Republic Bank, Eckert Seamans and Unisys. But, there's still 100,000 square feet of prime Center City office real estate left to lease.

Experts expect strong interest in the sale from investors all over the world. One local company, however, could also be eyeing the prize: Brandywine Realty Trust, which is already the largest landlord of Class A realty in Center City.
