'Ultimate Springsteen Collection,' including clothes and lyric sheets, going for $7.5 million

There's a collection of Bruce Springsteen memorabilia that would make any hardcore fan swoon – they just need a few million dollars on hand first to make it theirs.

What's called the "Ultimate Springsteen Collection" is on sale for a whopping $7.5 million by dealer Moments in Time. There are about 300 items in the collection, according to Billboard

The items on sale include lyric sheets to hits like "Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out" and "Born to Run," the flannel Springsteen wore on the cover of "The River," the 4F card that excused the New Jersey rocker from service in the Vietnam War, autographed guitars, a passport photo and more, Billboard reported.

Gary Zimet, CEO of Moments in Time, told the publication that the seller collected the items over seven years and has contributed some pieces to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

"It's extraordinary that one person could assemble such a truly unbelievable collection," Zimet said.

Zimet also told Billboard that he would consider selling the items individually.
