Upper Darby mother and son arrested on heroin-related charges

Police said they confiscated 407 bags of heroin, packaging materials, cash and a gun

An Upper Darby mother and son were arrested on charges related to possession and distribution of heroin.

According to 6ABC, Upper Darby police said the son, Malcom Peck, 24, was the mastermind behind what Superintendent Michael Chitwood called a “drug dealer's paradise.”

Police said they confiscated 407 bags of heroin, packaging materials, cash and a gun from the home.

Peck’s mother, Tionne, was also arrested.

"There's no way she did not know something was going on based on the location of the drugs in the house, and that's why she got locked up," Chitwood told 6ABC.

Court records reveal Malcom Peck had several prior weapons and drugs charges dating back to 2011.
