Vincent Kane, 20, of the 100 block of Sterner Avenue in Broomall, Delaware County.

Part-time Villanova University student Vincent Kane was found guilty in a Delaware County court of multiple charges, including child pornography and invasion of privacy.

In October 2016 Kane, 20, was arrested after authorities found a vast collection of footage recorded inside a unisex Villanova campus bathroom, among other public restrooms, that he filmed with a hidden cell phone camera.

Investigators say they uncovered more than 51,000 images or videos, including upskirting shots taken in a CVS in Marple, Delaware County, where Kane worked. Prosecutor Christopher Boggs told CBS3 the invasion of privacy count was specifically because of that bathroom video, which had 12 individual victims.

When Kane’s phone was first reported in the CVS bathroom, he admitted to collecting recordings for the past two years, and much of the uncovered recordings featured minors, including footage from a high school bathroom. Prosecutors also said there were at least hundreds of photos of children ages 12 and under, including infants and toddlers.

Kane, from the Broomall section of Marple Township, agreed to a bench trial, so the victims of his crimes would not have to appear before a jury. Kane is scheduled to be sentenced Jan. 22 and he will remain free on bail through Christmas before reporting to county prison on Dec. 27.mu
