Warlock motorcycle gang member convicted in Philly, Delco meth bust

Andrew Carr, 59, allegedly served as 'muscle' of drug trafficking business

An Upper Darby man and Warlock motorcycle gang member was found guilty Wednesday on a charge of conspiring to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamines, the U.S. Attorney's Office announced Thursday.

Andrew Carr, 59, was a member of the notorious motorcycle gang's Chester chapter and had served as a "muscle" and debt collector in a meth trafficking business in Philadelphia and Delaware County. Prosecutors say the business sold approximately $40,000 methamphetamines on a monthly basis. Carr also allegedly sold the drug to his own customers.

In total, the FBI investigation has netted eight convictions of members or associates of the drug trafficking business.

Carr faces a mandatory minimum sentence of five years in prison, with a maximum sentence of 40 years, a possible fine and up to a lifetime of supervised release.

A sentencing hearing is scheduled for August 17, 2016.
