New Jersey's 30th Annual State Fair Meadowlands took an ugly turn on Saturday in East Rutherford when dozens of people came to fists in the middle of the fair grounds.
According to NJ.com, New Jersey State Police spokesman Sgt. Jeff Flynn said authorities responded to the scene at approximately 12:23 a.m. after receiving reports of a brawl.
Officers who arrived at the scene were able to disperse crowds with relative ease and there were no requests for medical assistance. Authorities said that one person who was arrested did not appear to be connected to the brawl.
The fight, which lasted only a few minutes, was captured in part by a bystander and uploaded to Facebook. It has since gone viral—shared more than 11,000 times and viewed more than 575,000 times.
