Video shows burglar smashing doors of Northeast Philly deli with brick

Philadelphia police say this man is one of two suspects who allegedly broke into a deli in the Parkwood Manor section of Northeast Philly.

A burglar used a cinder block to smash the glass doors of a deli in the Parkwood Manor section of Northeast Philly before entering the business with another man, Philadelphia police said.

The break-in took place a 1:40 a.m. last Thursday at the business in the 12000 block of Academy Road, and police said while inside the suspects attempted to steal lottery tickets. Officers from the Eighth District responded to the building's alarm.

Surveillance video of the incident shows the door being smashed and two men entering the deli then rummaging around to cash register area. Police did not provide descriptions of either man seen in the video, except to note that the suspect who smashed the door has a large tattoo on his neck.
