The Philadelphia Police are seeking help from the public to identify a man who robbed several shops in Fishtown and Juniata Park, armed with a handgun.

According to police, the individual is suspected in at least three incidents, the first was on Dec. 5, 2015, at about 2:25 a.m., when the gunman pointed a handgun at a 28-year-old male employee at the 7-Eleven, located at 1084 North Delaware Avenue, and demanded money.

In that case, after getting an undisclosed amount of cash, police said, the man fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The suspect in that crime, and in all three incidents, is described by police as a Hispanic male in his 40s, standing about 5 feet, 6 inches, to 5 feet, 9 inches with a medium build.

In the first incident, law enforcement officials said the wanted man was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with a green hooded sweatshirt underneath, gray sweatpants and black skully hat.

Three days later, on Dec. 8 at about 10 p.m., police said, a man matching that same description entered a 7-Eleven at 3907 Kensington Avenue and asked for a carton of Newport cigarettes.

After the 49-year-old male employee told the individual that he only had single packs of Newport cigarettes, the wanted man pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the employee.

The gunman was given a carton of Maverick Green cigarettes, but, a struggle ensued and the employee attempted to hit the male with the cash register drawer, police said.

The gunman then fled with the carton of cigarettes and was last seen heading west toward Kensington Avenue, law enforcement officials said.

Police said in that incident, the gunman was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, and was armed with a handgun.

The next day, Dec. 9, 2015, at about 4 a.m., a gunman who matched the description of the man wanted in those crimes, entered a WAWA, located at 1300 East Erie Avenue, and asked an employee, a 31-year-old male, for a carton of Newport cigarettes, police said.

Law enforcement officials said the wanted individual then pulled a handgun from his waistband and threatened the employee.

After taking an unknown amount of money and cigarettes the suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction, police said.

In that incident, police said the gunman wore a gray hooded sweatshirt with black stripes, gray dress pants and black dress shoes.
