Police are looking to identify and locate the suspect wanted for a shooting in North Philadelphia.

Police are seeking a suspect wanted for a shooting in North Philadelphia.

The shooting occurred on Dec. 14 at 3:22 p.m. on the 700 block of Luzerne Street.

Police say an 11-year-old girl was walking from the McClure School when she heard several gunshots as she approached Franklin Street. She was struck once in her right heel. 

A witness said he saw an unknown white male firing several shots from Franklin Street at an unknown male who fled west on Luzerne Street as the shooter chased him. A second witness, a 30-year-old male, said he was driving east on Luzerne Street at Franklin Street when a gunshot struck his windshield.


Police describe the suspect as a 20-year-old white male with facial hair, wearing a black knit cap, black pants and black long-sleeve shirt with a possible dragon type design on the front.
