WATCH: Police seek suspect who burglarized Kingsessing church

The Philadelphia Police are seeking help identifying this man who broke into a church in the Kingsessing neighborhood of the city on Aug. 19.

Philadelphia police are hoping the public can help identify a man who broke into the Healing Waters Church in Kingsessing, on August 19 and stole at least two televisions. 

According to police, an unknown male, described by law enforcement officials as a black male with a thin build and beard – gained entry about 11:05 p.m. by forcing open the front door of the Healing Waters Church in the 1700 block of S. 56th Street in southwest Philadelphia.

Once he was inside the church, the suspect took two flat screen televisions and a microphone, police said. 

In the video, he can be seen kicking the front doors of the church, marked with glass windows in the shape of crosses, before he heads inside and tears a flat screen television off the wall 

After running off with the TV, he returns minutes later to steal the second television and the microphone, police said.

On the night of the theft, police said the suspect was wearing a light-colored t-shirt, dark-colored pants, white sneakers, and a blue Phillies baseball hat. He also has what appears to be a tattoo on his right forearm, police said.
