Philly woman pleads guilty to child sexual exploitation charges

U.S. Attorney's Office say she distributed sexual pictures of 6-year-old, 16-month-old online

A Philadelphia woman pleaded guilty Monday in a child exploitation case involving two children, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

The U.S. Attorney's Office said Christine Yoder, 32, of Philadelphia, took sexually explicit pictures of a 6-year-old and a 16-month-old and sent the photos of the older child engaged in a sexual act to an undercover FBI agent.

Yoder had been charged with two counts of employing a child to produce images of the child engaged in sexually explicit conduct and two counts of distributing material involving the sexual exploitation of children.

Prosecutors accused Yoder of communicating with a man in Detroit and offering to fly the 6-year-old girl to that city for sexual activity.

According to the indictment, Yoder said she didn’t want the child back but did want the man to impregnate the 6-year-old when the girl was able to have children.

Yoder, who will be sentenced in June, faces from 15 years to life in prison and could be fined up to $1 million.
