Police say a woman was robbed Wednesday at knifepoint near Temple University's campus in North Philadelphia, 6ABC reports.
The incident occurred at West Atlantic and North Camac streets near the Health Sciences Campus, which is about two miles north of Temple's main campus.
The university posted an alert to students on Twitter.
TU Alert: Armed robbery involving knife reported at Atlantic Street/Camac Street at HSC. Use caution. Avoid the area. Police are responding.

A man with a knife allegedly approached a 40-year-old woman and stole her purse and cell phone. The woman, who police say is not a Temple student, was not injured during the robbery.
The incident remains under investigation.
