A police investigation is underway after the body of a woman was discovered in a playground area Thursday in Wilmington, Delaware.
At around 10:30 a.m., authorities were called to a park area between the 600 block of South Union Street and the 700 block of South Lincoln Street to investigate a report of a suspicious person, CBS 3 reports.
When police officers arrived, they discovered the body of a female, who has not yet been identified.
No further information was provided and an investigation is in progress.
