The Fourth of July is here, party people - it’s time to rejoice in the excesses of Americana. Stay out late and go on a twilight hoagie binge after sweating it out at the club. Here’s the soundtrack to your weekend.

Thursday, July 2

Goodie with Guti (LIVE) and Rob Paine & Francisco Collazo, Coda

Few acts in techno draw as much respect as Guti, an Argentine producer with jazz upbringings who’s turned club-land on its head with his moody and sublime takes on electronic music. Big-ups to the Goodie selectors for snagging a special live performance on this one.

10 p.m. – 3 a.m., $15 advance tickets

All Natural featuring Pleasurekraft, Salvo, Rumor

It’s Ravi from Rumor’s birthday, so he booked one of his all-time favorite acts, Stockholm-based tech-house duo Pleasurekraft, to set the party off. Ravi said that his parents will also be in the club, so this should be a wild and fun night.

10 p.m. – 2 a.m., free

Friday, July 3

Nora En Pure with Chris B, Coda

Arriving from Switzerland with a melodic and mesmerizing blend of deep house and indie dance hits in tow, the South African-born Nora En Pure makes her Philly debut as part of a headlining American tour. Opening set from yours truly, so come say hi!

10 p.m. – 3 a.m., $12 advance tickets

Cut Copy DJs with Knightlife & Shearn, The Dolphin

Considered one of the best recent indie-dance bands, Australian quartet Cut Copy heads “down under” to South Philly for a special DJ set at The Dolphin. Support will come from fellow Aussie Knightlife and, locally, from the Young Turk Shearn.

10 p.m. – 2 a.m., $15 advance tickets

Obscura showcase, Sarah’s Place

If you haven’t been to Brewerytown to check out Sarah’s Place yet, do yourself a favor and fix that this weekend. The historic bar/venue welcomes the summer edition of hip-hop and alternative showcase Obscura to its upstairs space, with artists VISTO, MovaKween and more providing the sounds for the night.

9 p.m. – 2 a.m., $5

Saturday, July 4

Broadzilla, The Dolphin

Everyone’s raving about the parties with Philly’s favorite dance pranksters Broadzilla, citing high levels of sweat and dance floor silliness as major factors to the fun. Expect some underground disco anthems and weirdness from the group of handsome gents.

10 p.m. – 2 a.m., $5

Summer of Summer with Brickhouse, The Trestle Inn

After the fireworks at the art museum, head east to the Eraserhood to unwind and dance to some feel-good tunes with craft cocktails in hand. Summer of Summer is all about music inspired by Diana Ross and Studio 54, so be prepared to vogue it out.

10 p.m. – 2 a.m., free

Sunday, July 5

Live at the Garden with Skeme Richards & WKDU, Silk City Garden

Skeme Richards is one of the most highly regarded DJs in the world and proudly continues the amazing history and tradition of Philadelphia-based DJs. Expect lots of amazing vinyl selections and good vibes out in the garden for this one.

4 p.m.–9 p.m., free

Sharam, Bungalow Beach Atlantic City

If you find yourself in AC on Sunday, beachfront venue Bungalow Beach will be a great way to extend your weekend and keep the party going. With a massive solo career and a Grammy as half of pioneering duo Deep Dish, Sharam is a true master behind the decks.
