Here are just a sample of the opportunities that will be available at the CATC.

Automotive Technology

Maybe you’re already an auto enthusiast and want to turn your passion in a career, or you’re looking to take your existing auto career to the next level. Either way, our high-tech offerings have you covered.

With the Toyota T-TEN Automotive Technology degree program, you’ll learn how to fix, diagnose and repair vehicles from the top auto maker in the U.S. You’ll also earn money while going to school by splitting your time between class at the CATC and working at a Toyota or Lexus dealership! This is the only Toyota T-TEN program of its kind in the region, so be among the first to take advantage.

If larger vehicles are more your speed, consider the brand new Medium/Heavy Truck Technology degree program or proficiency certificates. Get hands-on experience servicing trucks, buses, tractor-trailer systems and off-road equipment. Industry accreditation and career flexibility await!

And if you’re an experienced auto technician and want to expand your skillset, consider the Alternative Fuels micro-proficiency certificates, specializing in both Electric Vehicles and Hybrids and Carbon-Based Fuels. As more Americans are turning away from traditional fossil fuels, make sure you’re ready for this rapidly changing industry.

Advanced Manufacturing

Did you know that advanced manufacturing invents, creates, and repairs the products we use every day? And as technology evolves, so does the training needed to serve the growing advanced manufacturing industry.

Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Precision Machining Technology may be the best entry-level career field you’ve never heard of! CNC technology uses machines to transform materials like metals and plastics into auto parts, and products for the military, aircrafts and space vehicles. The average starting salary in the area is more than $46,000, and the demand for CNC programmers and machine operators is increasing.
