Julian Fellowes, the celebrated creator and writer of hit PBS drama "Downton Abbey" will make a special appearance in Philadelphia next week. The Foundation for Breast and Prostate Health (FBPH), in partnership with Independence Blue Cross, bring Fellowes to the Union League on Monday, Dec. 7 for a live conversation with CNN's Michael Smerconish.
The event will include a cocktail reception in a luxe setting (as if we could expect anything less for a night with the man behind "Downton") and Smerconish will lead an illuminating conversation with the creative mind. It's all an effort to raise funds for FBPH, a nonprofit that raises funds for research, education and awareness of breast and prostate cancer.
Regular tickets go for $500 per person (it's a swanky fundraiser, after all) but VIP tickets go for a cool $1,000. VIP ticket holders get premier seating during the event as well as a post-dinner dessert reception with Lord and Lady Fellowes.
